Salisha Thomas is an actor originally from Fresno, California and now resides in New York City. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater. You can catch her every day at the Stephen Sondheim Theater in NYC performing in Beautiful The Carole King Musical on Broadway!

During college, Salisha worked regionally at theaters like 3D Theatricals and McCoy Rigby La Mirada as well as for Disney as a principal vocalist as an original cast member of Mickey and the Magical Map portraying Princess Tiana from Disney’s hit musical, The Princess and the Frog. She was also part of Five and Dime starring as Dime in the atmospheric show in California Adventure. She earned her Actors Equity Card portraying TiMoune in TheatreWorks production of Once On This Island in the Bay Area of California.


In 2013, Salisha was crowned Miss Fullerton of the Miss America Organization. At the end of her year, the pageant disbanded and no one was crowned after. She is still the reigning Miss Fullerton. In 2016 while on tour with Beautiful The Carole King Musical, Salisha became Miss California World 2016 of this Miss World America Organization and received the Top Talent award at Nationals.


Before pursing Theater, Salisha was a trained percussionist with an emphasis on Marimba and Xylophone. For voice, she has trained with Eric Futterer of  Southern California. And in Manhattan, she trains with Ric Ryder of the Matt Farnsworth Vocal Studio. 


She is represented for Musical Theater by the Mine Talent Agency in NYC. She is currently seeking representation for Commercial/ Print.
